About the Title

I was praying unto God, and He revealed some things that were in my heart that was not right. He examined my attitude, thoughts, feelings and actions. I knew that I had some things that I needed to work on, but I never talked to the Lord about them. I went to church every Sunday and did not mention the issues that I had with him, because I did not feel a conviction in my heart. What God revealed is that His original design was not for man to hide his true self from God. Adam was naked and unashamed before God. That is what God wanted and His desire. Over the next couple of days I began to think and study about God’s plan for the Earth and the relationship with His people. I found myself more concerned with going to church and trying to be a good person, than having an authentic relationship with God. That needed to change. I declared that I would be naked and unashamed and I knew to do that I would have to be immersed in God’s Spirit. I began to think more about the Holy Spirit and how He is the Living Water that Jesus was speaking about at the well. I thought to myself, “Wow…naked and unashamed and immersed in water.” When I decided to write my book, encouraged by my wife Katha, I titled it “Skinny Dipping with the Savior.” It is a light hearted easy read that will encourage you and may even challenge you to increase your interest in your relationship with Jesus.
